AFFORDABLE HOUSING MONITORED AND FINANCED BY THE LOS ANGELES HOUSING DEPARTMENT (LAHD)
The Affordable Housing Roster contains a list of private properties built or rehabilitated with public subsidies from LAHD and through land-use concessions.
The Roster also includes a list of commonly asked questions about affordable housing. Users of this information are cautioned that most of the developments in the Roster have lengthy wait lists.
Please note that certain types of affordable housing developed for households with special needs (battered women and persons with disabilities) are normally accessed through non-profit or government agencies. The Roster also does not contain affordable housing developed by other public agencies; however, LAHD has a guide to additional affordable housing resources in the Los Angeles area available by calling 213-808-8888 or 866-557-7368 (outside 213 area code).
