 Evictions for the purpose of major rehabilitation

Following a moratorium on evictions for the purpose of major rehabilitation, the Los Angeles City Council removed major rehabilitation as a legal reason for eviction under the RSO. Ordinance 176544, effective May 2, 2005, establishes the Primary Renovation Program which includes major rehabilitation.
