REVISED TCAC APPLICATION FORM AND CLARIFICATION REGARDING RELOCATION NOTICES

 Q:  The sample relocation notices state that proof of delivery must be provided to LAHD.  Is proof of delivery alone sufficient, or does LAHD require proof of receipt by the addressee?  If the notices are sent via email and a copy of the email is provided, is that sufficient? 

 A:  No.  Proof of email does not suffice as proof of delivery.  For the purposes of the NOFA, proof of delivery is the same as proof of receipt.    A return receipt or signature on the letter as having been received serves as proof of delivery.

Return receipts are due before loan closing.  At time of NOFA application, copies of Notices must be submitted.
