The Court Liaison Unit (CLU) is responsible for any and all activity associated with code cases that have already been accepted by the City Attorneys Office for filing of criminal charges. This elite staff is charged with the obligation of insuring that the owners comply with code violations cited in the past as well as anything that may have been overlooked during prior inspections. In addition CLU staff is charged with citing by way of photographs any new violations that have occurred over the course of time. The properties that are worked by this unit are typically the most difficult cases in the department.
